WEDNESDAY INDIVIDUAL PURSUIT
This is our popular Wednesday evening series, with two series per season. It is a 50 minute race and your individual start time depends on the boat you sail and your experience as a sailor. All handicaps are statistically worked out and are dependent on previous results in races. Beginners will start at 0 in a Mirror and this base line increases dependent on boat being sailed, topped up by individual ability. Handicaps can go up and down.
Wednesday
Individual Handicap, race start time 7.00 pm.
A 50 minute individual pursuit race. Starting times dependent on ability and boat you are helming. A great race to become involved with, beginners having clear wind to start and get to know the course before the bigger boats and more experienced sailors catch up. The handicaps are designed so that we all finish the race close together.
