Since Gresford Sailing Club was founded in 1959, dinghy Sailing has been at the heart of the club. With only 6 acres of water there are not many Cruising destinations on the Flash though our Juniors do occasionally have their own “Round the Island Race”.

Racing & Social Sailing has always been at the heart of the dinghy calendar

Wednesday Evening & Saturday mornings Sailing for all who can sail or crew with someone if you are a beginner.

Sundays by arrangement when safety cover is available.

Adults can start training with experienced sailors on the above sessions or on organised Instructor days.

Arthur Jones Classic: Where we race dinghies designed on or before the founding of Gresford Sailing Club. This will include GP14, Enterprise and Solos classes to name a few (don’t worry if your boat was built after 1959 as long as it was designed on or before 1959!)

Frostbite Series

Our winter race series starting in November till the end of the season (all boats welcome).
